You are invited to attend the weekly Day of Mindfulness (DOM) at AIAB - Lotus Pond Temple, Lantau. We will also celebrate the Buddha's birthday on this DOM May 31, 2015.

The DOM is mainly facilitated by the monks and nuns of AIAB with the intention to bring the practices of Buddhism into daily life. It is a day for us to experience the happiness of the present moment simply by having a series of mindfulness practice activities. The mindfulness practice will help us to become more focused and attentive in our daily life. Practicing together is indeed very happy and enjoyable!
The DOM is free-of-charge and welcomes all, regardless of your religious background and experiences.
The program of the DOM, modified for the celebration of the Buddha's birthday is as follows:
10:00 Walking meditation (Meet in front of the Lotus Pond Temple)
11:00 Dharma Talk
11:45 Incense offering and chanting
12:15 Bathing the baby Buddha - Getting in touch with the Buddha within
13:00 Picnic lunch
14:00 Total relaxation

How to register
Please register by emailing us email@example.com on or before May 29, 2015, if you would like to join the Day of Mindfulness or have any particular inquiries. Registering helps us to know the number of people coming so we can prepare lunch. You are encouraged to stay for the whole day of practice.
